ARE YOU EXPECTING?

Congratulations! Having a baby is one of the most rewarding experiences in your lives. At Devito and Alvarado Pediatric Associates, we are committed to helping you care for your child- keeping your baby happy and healthy. 
 

We encourage new parents to schedule a prenatal visit. This visit allows expectant parents to become acquainted with us and ask questions regarding the birth of their baby. Our prenatal visits are held Monday - Friday at both locations.
 

Please Note: You do not need to "register" with our office before your baby is born. If you would like one of the physicians at DeVito and Alvarado Pediatric Associates to be your baby's doctor simply tell your obstetrician beforehand and the hospital staff when you arrive at the hospital to give birth. The hospital will notify our office when your baby is born. One of our pediatricians will be in to see you and your baby when they do hospital rounds that morning and will examine your baby each day that you're there.

Babies born at other area hospitals are welcome to come to our office after birth.

What to Bring to your First Visit

• Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results and immunization records.
• Any available insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
• Completed new patient forms prior to the visit to help make the appointment as smooth as possible.

Before Your First Appointment

A few weeks before delivery, call the office to let us know you are expecting.

You may want to download and fill out our paperwork ahead of time.

When the happy day has arrived, you can tell the hospital staff that you have chosen us as your pediatrician.
