Dr. Lopez was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Scranton where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Spanish and Psychology. She received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York.
She completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville and went on to do a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Lopez then spent the next 5 years as a Pediatric Critical Care Intensivist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
After the pandemic and while raising two young sons, she realized her heart was in Primary Care Pediatrics. She recently joined our team at DeVito and Alvarado Pediatrics and we are happy to welcome her to our practice.
She resides in Bay Ridge with her family.
