Our Providers

Dr. Alvarado is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Queens, NY. In 1990 she obtained her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.


She then attended the New York University School of Medicine and received her medical degree in 1994. In 1997 she completed the Pediatric Residency Program at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan.


Dr. Alvarado is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a Past-President of the Brooklyn Pediatric Society, as well as a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York, the American Medical Association, the Richmond County Medical Society and many other medical professional organizations.


Dr. Alvarado received the Voluntary Attending Physician of the Year Award from the NY Methodist Hospital pediatric residents. She also recently received the American Academy of Pediatrics Special Achievement Award for distinguished service and dedication to the mission and goals of the academy.


Dr. Alvarado resides in Brooklyn with her family.
